My MB keeps restarting after changing Vcore in BIOS, is that normal? I am using 965P-DS3 and Intel E2140. Problem is i try to OC the proc........i could OC the proc if i do not touch the Vcore. Able to do 390Mhz.................not stable therefore i try to pump in more voltage and the things just keep restarting. But if i wanted to set the Vcore even to the proc stock Vcore stock (default value is written "Normal"----to--->1.325V) in the bios the mobo just keep restating. Not sure what is the problem. Note that i can OC but I cant touch the Vcore setting in the bios only. moved from the "Technical Support" http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/720741/+0#entry18009991This post has been edited by vascjw: Jun 16 2008, 11:18 PM

I only set the timing tight after prime stable. Proc can OC and prime stable without touching the Vcore. Just that everytime i touch the Vcore in the Bios things will go bad........

QUOTE(tkh_1001 @ Jun 17 2008, 06:18 PM) erm....is ur ram tested for stability after tightening then? Problem is not my RAM la.............. even lose timing default speed at 200 fsb i change the vcore in the bios the pc will restart non-stop. I.e. if din touch the vcore will be "Normal" when touch set to a voltage value like "1.3250V" <<<< this also will make the pc restart.

have u tried to set the vcore even higher? coz when pc keeps restarting...it means either ur vcore is not enuff or ur ram timing is too tight or not enuff vdimm....but in ur case i think vcore not enuff...

Add +0.1v to FSB overvoltage and +0.1v MCH overvoltage. Thank me if that solve your problem

did you miss out the NB voltage, you should juice it up since you are running on higher FSB
