My MB keeps restarting after changing Vcore in BIOS, is that normal?

I am using 965P-DS3 and Intel E2140.

Problem is i try to OC the proc........i could OC the proc if i do not touch the Vcore.
Able to do 390Mhz.................not stable therefore i try to pump in more voltage and the things just keep restarting.
But if i wanted to set the Vcore even to the proc stock Vcore stock (default value is written "Normal"----to--->1.325V) in the bios the mobo just keep restating.

Not sure what is the problem.
I cant even touch the Vcore at all.

maybe your FSB too high & the Vcore isn't enaugh fot the setting. try to up the FSB value by step. first reset your CMOS (i think you know how to reset it tongue.gif)

by default vcore in the bios is what value? have you try to flash the bios? also have you try to ask from previous owner if you bought in garage sales. blush.gif

The default is 1.325V. Flash to latest version F12 even try F13X still the same.

1. have you reset the bios ??, or unplugged the CMOS battery for any second, then plug in back ...
2. disable all your cpu hardware then assemble it again
