I got myself a cruiser board. But it seems like this is learning on hard mode. Tried a longboard for few mins and kinda loved it

My suggestion is to learn the baby steps first.. no harm learning fundamentals properly - how to push, how to T-stand, and how to brakeI'm thinking to change into a longboard or surfskate tho. I find the cruiser board a bit tiny to do longboard dancing
