i hv 2 faulty crt monitors

1compaq brand year 2001. Got no display instead it have a horizontal green line in the middle..Can sometimes be fixed by banging on top left side of the monitor. Now it won't budge. I bang so many times at so many spots also no picture. Juz the green line.

1LG 14" crt monitor year 2006 maybe i cant remember.B4 it died on me the screen regularly refreshes/flicks on itself maybe once every 2minutes.3days ago it died.It got real hot after switching it on. Possible burned components. But the on light still works. Juz now dont hv display at all


I hope u can guide me to repair by myself first whichever i can. I need the monitor to work since its my home computer. Hope u can give me DIY guide on whts wrong. Also whts the cost for u to repair it n do PM me ur hp number so i can contact u
