Hi, I have a Philips 5.1 home theater system. All functions are still working (HDMI in/out, dvd, bluetooth etc.) but no sound is produced from all speakers.

What happened today is, when I'm trying to turn the system on with hand by touching the receiver's touch sensitive pad, a very loud sound "pak" produced and I see lights/sparks inside the touch pad then it turned on. I suspect it is damaged by static electricity?

Thanks Krish! He fixed my Philips HTB5570D 5.1 home theater no sound issue, in just a day after I leave it to him. Can see that he is a very experienced specialist.
