u should get a QWERTY device definitely if surfing is a priority and using MT4. But your budget is kinda low. I'd recommend HTC Tytn 2.
Dun recommend any WIde reso devices, as i'm not sure if MT4 works on it |

@For old people, not only u wanna get a good resolution, but as big a screen as possible. I suggest going for HTC Touch HD. Top of the line model, and as a businessman he can show off also lol. |

BUDGET RANGE: < 2K
Brand Preference if any: Second hand: No QWERTY keyboard: No preference Keypad: Doesnt matter GPS: Not important Bluetooth: Yes WIfi: Yes Frequent Overseas traveller to Japan and US? or other countries: No Camera Resolution minimum: Not important Expandable Memory: Yes 3G : Yes HSDPA or higher: (Isn't this the same as 3G? I need 3G, not necessary 3.5G) Front Camera: Yes Gaming Type: Light Screen Size : Larger than 3" for better surfing experience Guys - I am refining my search after going through some models during PC Fair, and decided that I need a large screen and I have increased my budget from below 1.5K to around 2K and MOST IMPORTANTLY, I need something that is stable and smooth touch screen feature. I think there`s an o2 XDA Flame, its screen is 3.6 but I dont recommend o2 for newbies.Brand Preference if any: Second hand: No QWERTY keyboard: No preference Keypad: Doesnt matter GPS: Not important Bluetooth: Yes WIfi: Yes Frequent Overseas traveller to Japan and US? or other countries: No Camera Resolution minimum: Not important Expandable Memory: Yes 3G : Yes HSDPA or higher: (Isn't this the same as 3G? Shaun - actually I like Omnia's size and its big screen and it is below 2K, but not too sure how stable or problem free Samsung is, so wanted to get advise on what are my other options. I always prefer Nokia as a mobile phone but now looking at WM PDA devices, so hoping to get some thing which is stable. problem free, easy to glide...etc. thanks. And crewmy: Do u really need the screen to be larger than 3 inches? if u MUST have such a big screen then go for Omnia. U can have a look at the Omnia thread for info. Its more or less ironed out.
I dun really recommend china models, as their OS is old, and i believe their warranty is gonna be another issue. It takes a lot to know how WM works. Also there isnt much of a community that can help u out should anything go wrong, and it is highly probably a rom upgrade will not be possible due to the lack of chefs. Also at those prices i highly doubt the video and d3d driver capabilities as well |

It must be AP set then, this PDA booth in PC Fair was very aggressive to push it to me...but I was still doing 'research' and look-see-look-see at that time...they quoted 1999....
