QUOTE(jiaxun @ Oct 15 2008, 11:21 PM) Hmm.... Direct supplier mah. As we know, most electronics are made in China. The supplier is quite reliable based on my observations la. hurm RM2.2k ey? Do u guys think it'll be more than 2k?Another thing, just confirmed with my Sweedish friend, it's 2,231.67 MYR or USD 645 at the time of this posting. |

QUOTE(chtan @ Oct 24 2008, 11:44 AM) Of course if you can get the map to download into the phone. But downloading the map does equal to log-on your location. You need satellite signal to triangulate your position. Unless your phone has a dedicated GPS unit to receive and process the satellite signal itself, you have to rely on network mask to do the job for you, and hence why you need to connect on-line in order for that processed data to relay back to you. So, even you have the map you still need to get connect to start your AGPS. QUOTE(Seaedge @ Oct 24 2008, 12:35 PM) i remember iphone can do download offline map for googlemaps, but not sure if the java version can do so. but even so, googlemaps doesnt offer directions, so i would say Gmap is just for knowing where is the place from ur point. and you still have to find the way there. and no voice navigation. thanks for the explaination on GPS. I'm still not really familiar with it.unless navifone or garmin comes out with a java version. From what I understand that you need some kind of service or go online to triangulate your current position then give directions to where you want to go. So does that mean its like data charges? or a seperate kind of service? Because I have a friend who has a n95 and pays a monthly fee for his gps. Also, is there a offline map that can be used with the c905. So lets say if i need to find a place, i just find point A (my current location) manually then locate point B and the program/application finds the fastest route. |

QUOTE(waileng @ Oct 29 2008, 03:13 AM) muahahha... aiseh...really "yuin ga lou zak"... in here oso can c you! sighhh... u mean comparable? if im not mistaken, most (if not all) of SE's front camera is used for video calls only. well, basically.. this phone is compatible with N96! it has the best camera amongst all but the only thing i don't really like is the gps system! it's not that the gps is not good but it jus lags very often while loading! i don't know whether is this what happens to all phones or oni this! so far, i have not played any further with the phone yet but i heard from my friend that taking video is not as good as snapping photos! another worst thing is the front cam can oni be used during video calls! besides all these, i think it's worth it to get this phone. I'm oso wondering how much will it cost out there?! mnpl~ thanks for the good review. pics are awesome. I like the macro of the wet rose. The photo of the rose bush really shows the depth and focus (front in focus, back slightly blurry |

its Sony Ericsson's in built browser. but u can always use Opera Mini
QUOTE Sony Ericsson C905 has the latest Access NetFront HTML browser 3.4. Elaborate web pages are rendered well and there are lots of configurable settings too. Although there is no dedicated fullscreen mode, the web page automatically rotates in landscape/full screen mode, if the phone is turned horizontally. The other view modes include Text only, Pan and Zoom and Zoom page. The Panning/scrolling speed is also up to the standard. The Sony Ericsson C905 web browser offers a virtual mouse pointer, which is a real pleasure to work with. Another interesting and practical feature is the "Find on page" option. It searches the loaded web page and the first match is immediately listed as soon as you type a letter. If are still not satisfied with this browser, you can always count on the superb OperaMini browser. Added on October 30, 2008, 9:23 pm QUOTE(jiaxun @ Oct 30 2008, 09:19 PM) Most probably yes as Singapore government does not allow locked phone to be sold. then what about those selling on ebay singpore? why do we hv to pay sirim?Much cheaper? Not really. Tax for handphone is 10%, sirim Rm200. If you calculate now, more expansive than RM2.4k This post has been edited by IcedNyior: Oct 30 2008, 09:23 PM |
