QUOTE(cherroy @ May 9 2011, 09:12 PM)
Anyone can put up statement, view how good or how bad the stock.
How ugly or wonderful the stock is.

But not on personal front issue.

We discuss about the particular stock, not any person.
Whether the person is right or wrong, doesn't matter. Forum place is interested to discuss the stock issue only.

We come here not to confront with others.  smile.gif
nor we interested how well or how bad other doing.

Thank you for the cooperation.

Forumer should buy a stock if he thinks it is still undervalued and offers a good prospect ( for 1 year period or more ).

I do really hope that all personal attacks or crushing believes stops and like both tai ko said, only on stocks. I believe many noob like me is reading and trying to understand/follow up research how they got these news/answer/conclution/figure.

We are really trying to learn. Some of us can only contribute if we hear wind but again, WE (especially me) do not dare to voice out without substance.

Please do share MonkeyKing, right, wrong, win, lose don't matter as long as each investor take responsibility for their own action.

Lol, that is Duh.haha. Anyway, I sent out mine d, just do my part even though my votes are insignificant. They are proposing a dividend of 1.6 % less 25% tax. By the way, I requested a hard copy of BIMB annual report and the stamp money for the audit report is aint cheap, RM 3.50 man!! On a side note, I got my BIMB audit report really fast, in 4 workings days I after posted the postcard request. BIMB surely have a dedicated bunch of personnel and I suppose this is a good news rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Someone had mentioned this stock in BIMB before. I think he is the insider :-

Takaful Malaysia’s book value stood at RM2.40 per share. Its shares last traded at RM1.41, giving the stock a price-to-book ratio of just 0.59 times.

Analysts say Takaful Malaysia’s relatively low valuation makes it an attractive target for outsiders looking to penetrate the industry, or for existing competitors seeking to strengthen their foothold. Or even as a long-term investment.
Great Eastern Life Assurance was one of the companies issued with new family takaful licences by BNM last year for joint ventures with other companies.

Merging with a bigger player or a bank, such as Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd, could also bode well for Takaful

Lol, it's always easier when there is a hindsight. I recalled BIMB has been swinging for few times d, 1.40 to 1.67, then dropped back to 1.39 then surge back to 1.68, then drop back to 1.50 last week and now 1.60. Resistant always strong at 1.60. I always tell myself to sell when it reach 1.60 and buy back lower because my entry price is at 1.42 but I've always failed to do so and missed the boat twice d. I just scared it will swing higher each time and will have myself kicking. Anyway I buy this BIMB share base on fundamental, so I didn't really bother much about TA. I'm in for long term for this share to diversify my shares portfolio sector thumbup.gif
