Nope. I still can run the games. But when I put in the LE bonus disc, that message keeps popping out. My PS3's BD region is A (60GB CECHA12). Hrmm what the hell is wrong...

Everyone who owns the Asia MGS4 LE, could you guys please do me a favour by trying the bonus BD and see if it runs on your PS3.

Really need feedback from you guys because mine could not be run.

ya, i tried.. nothing happen, played smoothly.. but mine is 80gb SG model.. maybe there are different there.

Its a great great chance that it wont because kojima and sony made a forever like bond in fact sony brought up kojima's metal gear soliid series after the rise and fall of the other systems so.Plus if xbox fanboys wanted metal gear solid 4 so bad they should of wanted Mgs 3,2 and 1 as well buut as they saw 4 being halo killer they wanted the game to be multi platform so xbox wouldnt have to go to the grave. Even though there are rumors that it might come to the xbox 360 and they said that they are not worried about 360 "for now" i could tell that they are sticking metal gear with ps3, but dont be sad xbox lover kojima is coming out with some games for xbox and wii but it will be completely different than metal gear solid so keep your head up while i a ps3 fan go play metal gear solid 4 one of the best games ever created in the world ( also known as Halo killer) Halo R.I.P! Ha Ha!

they will include the backward compatible for ps1 and ps2 games, but they play in software emulation.

mgs4 is only going to be for ps3 because hideo kojima wants it as a ps3 exclusive.

For games i know is not region locked. But for bonus discs maybe they fall under region lock same as movies ......... Any confirmation on that ?

Faulty BD disc perhaps? Why don't you bring it back to TechAsia and try on the spot? That way u can know if its your system or the disc.

Relax bro....to think about it, you still the no 2 in the line and get the glory interview in the mag & paper along with No 1 .
it seem they neglected the No 3 in line

Maybe there's a possibility they packed  the wrong region BD with the Region 3 game...just my 2 cents...

what you can do is try to Reset to Factory settings...
