last sunday, i was in K.Krau, Pahang (at my relative house).. there is no Celcom3G, only CelcomEDGE available..

i try celcom broadband prepaid (Daily Unlimited RM6) with my celcom prepaid number.. once the request succesful, i try to surf internet, the speed is extremely slow (i would say, almost inaccesible).. most of the time the 'blue error' appear..

so i simply disconnect the line, and use my postpaid line (actually im already subsribing monthly unlimited d68 on my postpaid line, but since i using my postpaid line to sms chatting at that time, so i dont want to use it for internet connection at the same time)

the weird thing is, when i use my d68.. the 'blue error' is not happen anymore.. and the speed also faster compare to my prepaid daily plan.. this indicate that network is actually giving priority to monthly unlimited user.

u r wlcm smile.gif ...USIM stand 4 (Universal Subscriber Identification Module)...it is a Mobile SIM card with 3G capabilities. This card will serve you with the Celcom Broadband service...USIM can receive GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA signals while normal SIM cannot...USIM also known as 3G SIM...

I'm using Celcom Weekly Broadband via Celcom Blue sim card, I'm also having problem completing downloads from Rapidshare even though Im a RS premium user. The download stopped half way and I have to restart the download from 0% even though I supposedly can resume DL.
Apart from that, I can't even surf the web when the the msg pop up; WARNING! INVALID RETRIEVE CODE!

I wonder this only happens to user subscribing to daily/weekly BB services using prepaid BLUE sim, or these also happens to those using dedicated prepaid BB card (the RM25 starter pack)?

Same thing has been said b4 in "Celcom Prepaid Broadband" thread.

I just wish the two threads can be combined..

anyway, here it is what i ve mentioned b4 -

"Funny, i ve got the same problem too. Been happening 5-6 times from morning till now (Using Celcom Blue 3g). Of course, i just do the "disconnect and connect" again as recommended by toilet bowl. And i realize using Celcom Blue, my upload speed is just around 20-40kbps where as using Celcom Prepaid Broadband my upload was a constant 80-110kbps. Download speed is roughly the same. My hunch (hunch only not facts..hihi) is, could it possibly because Celcom Prepaid Broadband is a dedicated internet simcard, thus, it is more stable compared to Celcom Blue 3g (voice calls, sms n etc..etc)

Right now, just using back my Celcom Prepaid Broadband.. and much happy using it. And My Steam download shows a constant 40-45KB/s where as previous Celcom Blue 3g was a 20-40KB/s
"

Personally, i find that using CBP is more stable and hardly get that WARNING! INVALID RETRIEVE CODE!. Hmm, if i remember correctly, never had that error code(based on a week tryout and comparing it at the same time w C3GBlue - both were on weekly subscription) The downside with CBP, is, you cant sms n make calls, plus no bonus points.
