FYI, i do not own nokia, but i know how the price goes...
direct convert from euro or pound will always cost 20% more, if you don believe me, go check out those hardware prices, or prices from other phones.
The reason is because this phone is aiming for mid-range market, and 450EURO for ppl there are consider a ok-ok price, but if you direct convert here, it's 2.2k edi, and 2.2k in malaysia is consider high end phone. i don think nokia is going to screw their own market up just to again a little more money on their price, i think they are aiming for volume sales this time, so the price should not exceed 2k if they want to do so(or price will drop within 3 months to less then 2k)


even if they come out with 2.2k price, so what?? i did used the word EXPECT, and expectations are just on personal thoughts.
plus, this phone kinda remind me the time when nokia release N78, they are aiming for mid-range market also, and the 2.2K price is consider high end to malaysia.

i saw the ad about n85 on newspaper today , means it is oledi on the market rite ?? anyone knoe the price around kl area ??

it's cool...since they have 90% similar in design, i will not be surprised that ppl got mistaken...it's like i can flash my N81 in front of you and say it's N96, most ppl would thought that it's actually N96 as well...

emm..i dont think so, coz n96 has way bigger screen than n81, n n96 looks bigger than n81
between n85 n n81, it look same but certainly can be differentiate

well, provided u dun mistakenly slide ur n81 keypad upwards....
though i doubt u can
anyway, does this mean nokia ReAlLy gonna release this copy n paste phones until the trends goes off???
that would be kinda lame.... same look over n over again???

dunno lor, but i surely hope they gonna change the phone design for the next production line, because by then ppl would have been bored by that kind of design

Nokia have this kind of "dare and brave" spirit...which makes them strong...
either this model or n96 can still stand strong in the coming days...
it they think a new design is a must then just launch a new model or "something-similar-design"...

i you are more business oriented, then get the e66.
