I find that wide grip benching does work on my pecs and anterior delts more, but perhaps the grip mechanics vary for different people. Dumbell presses are still my favourite chest exercise though (standard grip of course).
while doing dumbbell press trying utilizing a different grip. on a flat angle try using a grip in between neutral and pronated, the lower the angle(decline) the grip should be more toward neutral and vice versa.wiki

i've got this from reading jim cordova's article and i've tried it out. i can really feel my inner chest working more compare to when i was using standard pronated grip.
