QUOTE(crownfish @ Oct 17 2008, 01:50 AM) analog cabinet setting guide- This is so true. I took days to get to the right %.1- set the dial at center. let the cabinet to stable for one day. 2- obtain the reading from the meter. 3- if reading is lower than ur desire range - reduce the power of the dry module ( turn the dial abit only). 4- if reading is higher than ur desire range - increase the power of the dry module ( turn the dial abit only). 5- repeat the process 1-4 until u happy the humidity level. Note : need to be patient!! accuracy >+- 5 % Note : pls note is normal the reading may drop futher after few days. Advice : As the reading around 40 - 50% consider ok already Analog cabinet user < 30% not ok 30 - 40 % - ok 35 - 45 % - ok 40 - 50 % - ok 45 - 55 % - ok > 55% not ok Patient.. Patient.. |

@Hidden, u will need to try and error, the 1st time I got mine, I've set it to around C, the after 3hours +, I rechecked and set it to D-E area, and it stay @ 45% over a period of time.
If your RH% is still @ 70%, I recon u to try set around A, should be stronger, after 3-4hours rechecked and re-set ur meter. I noticed analogue dry box doesn't have constant RH%, so have to check from time to time. What worry me most is the temperature, mine is around 35c+ sometimes will go up to 40c. |

Ok. Mine did drop to 50+ now. I just messed it around.
To confirm. The A B C D E If mine is now 55, and I want to make it 45, I turn to AB or DE? I always have the impression that A will make it wetter (higher in RH) while E will make it dryer (lower in RH) am I correctly interpret it? Higher RH value = wetter? |

I thought it's the other way around, A the strongest heat drying and E being the lowest heat. Aipo isn't providing a good manual, rather it's useless anyway!
Try set to CD 1st, wait for few hours or might just leave it at current position. I noticed, I've left my current meter around D-E, when it's raining, RH% will raise abit, and eventually lower down by period of time, not more than 3 hours I think. Just tweek around and see how. |

Aipo 21L Analog,
how to maintain the level? E.g. once i reach 45%, i open and change it back to C then i realized it will go back up to around 50+ My room is 70+ I figure this is because i open the microwave and it change the humidity a bit, I realized AB is to make it wetter while DE is to make it dryer, so inorder to maintain at 45% What do i do? Do i, let it dry until around 35% then open and adjust to C, so it will stable around 40+? Thanks |
