yup during prime the temp is skyhigh.. i think becoz of dts issue..
that reading just use software and maybe not accurate..
the temp increase if the voltage set high..

actually my gpu generate more heat but only 60C like that..
i doubt the cpu's temp reading is accurate coz the heatsink not that hot..
i assume 70-80C just plain safe.. just reported incorrectly..

just go for this dual-core IMO..

OC higher n cooler... vdroop oso lesser and its cheaper

n then, i can tell u i cant really feel a diff using my previous e7200 and compare with my q6600 running at the same clock for normal daily use...

but then e7200 only have 3mb cache which will reduce ur performance in games by 5-10% according to some bench....

1. increase the FSB will do. only increase voltage when things can't run.

2. don't touch the VGA PCI-E.

4. yes just change FSB. Orthos fail also ok wan. just that you don't get 100% perfect stability but on the other hand, still can play games wan la. If play game keep crashing and all, then yeah really unstable lor.

do we need to turn off EIST for more stable clocks?
