Currently testing a E7400 in office (Office CPU) from 2.8Ghz@3.57Ghz with 1.28V. Temp around 60c full load now with stock cooler

Using budget ASUS P5KPL-AM mobo with Kingston Value RAMs DDR667 1 GB X 2 with Hynix chips

Currently at 340Mhz FSB 4:5 ratio, RAM at 425Mhz (DDR850) 5-6-6-15 (Orthos testing)

Yupz, what to do, bored at office so play play a bit loh
Its been years since I overclocked any PC, my time was during the P4 era~~

Anyway, found out the limitation of this board

1) Cpu Vcore max 1.4V only
2) CPU and memory ratios are ballz. 667Mhz is 4:5, 800Mhz is 2:3 and 1066Mhz is 1:2, there is no freaking 1:1 ~_~
3) Limitation of the RAMs, can't post at 431.25Mhz
4) No option for turning off spread spectrum??? ~_~

So final OC which is able to post is at 343Mhz FSB X 10.5 = 3600Mhz, RAM at 429Mhz 5-6-6-15-2T (4:5)
Orthos stress testing now at 1.288 Vcore & Dram voltage set at 1.95V

Temperature at full load hovers around 58-62c, highest is 65c with stock cooler

Hmmm....funny, it won't POST no matter what I do if set the 345Mhz FSB

Maybe w/ other multiplier  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

Currently multiplier is the best 4:5
The rest are 1:2, and 2:3 which is useless for my rams (PC667)

bro -pWs-
I suspect mobo limitation as well, using budget ASUS P5KPL-AM motherboard

Because this KVR is using Hynix FP-Y5 chips which is good for high FSB, some of them managed to go DDR1000 and above as well with 5-5-5-15-2T at 2.2V

This 1 I hentam voltage all max, Vdimm at 2.2V whatever also won't boot. Even relaxed timings at 5-6-6-15 or CAS 6 ~_~
I am sure the CPU can go even further

11 x multipliers  thumbup.gif
It's good news for them 667mhz rams owners, coz they can go for FSB 334 X 11 = 3.67Ghz with 1:1 ratio.
Only need to OC the ram a little and set the FSB @ 364 (x11) to get the magical 4ghz  biggrin.gif

Anyways, upgraded LCD bro?(1080p)  brows.gif

Sad lah~~office 1 345Mhz can't boot liao no matter what settings and multiplier
344 Mhz can boot pulak ~_~

Probably is the PCIe frequency too high, this board doesn't have lock PCIe to 100Mh option
