Using E7400 400 x 9 @???voltage (still in the process of finding the right stable volts)

Regarding Prime95, when using the torture test, which one should I choose to find the right stability for the cpu's voltage?:

1. Small FTT's
2. In-place Large FTT's
3. Blend

I'm pretty bump coz I got errors when running 'Blend' up to 1.42v, I'm informed that 1.3625v is recommended as maximum increments, and 1.4v+ is really pushing it. Is it just that my chip is bad that i gotta push above 1.45v+ to be stable?

In 'small FTT's' i havent encounter any error so far, is 'small FFt's' the one I should be running?
