try not to reduce multipliers, play with default multipliers as much as you can unless its an extreme processor..

i would rather rephrase that the bigger the cache the chances of getting a good run on superpi is better. In OC, the cache doesnt matter because you are manipulating the clock cycles and not the registers in the CPU. The ability for it to run on high speeds depends on the stepping and also the quality of the silicon wafer the proc companies use.
