so.. my ps3 is 80gb. i do a backup into my 500gb hdd.

since my 500gb still got so much extra space; can i like still use this hdd to store other data inside?? will it screw up the ps3 back up ??

500GB HDD is locked and loaded in the list. Currently doing some reading and when it is time, I'll pry open the HDD and give it a new heart. 16th of November will be Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. It's either end of this month or in December. Right before Gran Turismo 5 launch. Talk about time, eh?

HDD 2.5" W/Digital 500GB 5400 8MB SATA

The above can be used?

Scrap the above. I bought  HDD 2.5" W/Digital 500GB 5400 8MB SATA at Low Yat Plaza for a generous RM152.00. Later this evening, I'm going to slot it in! WAHOO! Wish me luck. Oh wait...I forgot about the Philips screwdriver. Damn it! Sigh...Have to go out again to get the screwdriver.

i'd advise u to get 4x spare screws as well. the better quality one (i remove my hdd b4, the original screws marking wear off after i change a couple of time)

was being very gentle not to put too much pressure on it, but the ori screws marking is too soft. i have no idea how u gonna remove the screws if the marking really do wear off sweat.gif
