Slot the HDD into the PS3. It'll automatically format itself, you can't format the HDD yourself regardless as the PS3 uses its own proprietary format.

You can then just restore all the data that you have backup onto your new HDD.

just be sure to buy a screwdriver with a long barrel(or whatever you call the metal rod in between the head and the handle)

i used a long screwdriver, and it provided better leverage.

all those small 5 in 1 boxes arent long enough, and you might end up with a housed screw sleep.gif

If upgrade then might as well go direct 500GB.
120 to 250, really not much differrent.

Just pay rm 50 or so extra could get 500 instead 250.

this^

just go huge, rather than bigger tongue.gif

i am planning to upgrade my hdd (now it is too full to even play new games tat required minimun installation), so i was thinking 7200rpm hdd for a try.

Does it have faster loading time compare to the 5400 which come in standard?
*
barely? i think?
im using 5400rpm good enough for me. smile.gif
