The walkways that lead to odd places are definitely a great challenge. You could try a Sunway one too, the layout seems a lot simpler to build, and CsG could probably help in the design process considering he works there

Where does it say that it's illegal?

Also, how would they really find out either way? I don't think it's stated in the T&C that "farming" achievements is illegal. Technically what you guys are doing are not farming but rather gathering the achievements at a faster pace as compared to a public server.

My suggestion is this; if you want to farm for the achievements, do it in the locked server, and do it with a CONVENTIONAL map. Having a map rotation is fine, that might throw anyone watching off. This way no one but VAC knows what's going on. And VAC is only there to check for irregularities in script/coding either way.

So basically what you did was that you used the tag first before even applying and/or being approved to join the clan, and then jumped ship in-game when your team at the time needed you?
