Actually before I was thinking to get Koi, I plan to get Buddha instead.

But I can't find the pictures that I want to describe until I found this.

but really, i never expected it will be so cheap... i brought 700 bucks there cuz i heard they charged quite expensive...

my god!! my the skin started to peel more... and it's really getting worse... but i really dun wan to ruin my tattoo, man! haha..
how to tahan the itchiness?

woohoooo.. i can't wait to get another 1 when i got the dough!  rclxm9.gif
whoa... all i can say is the fellow in the pic is bigger than Vin Diesel!!  shocking.gif
*
Yea Borneo Ink charge pretty high but their work is good. I personally wouldnt mind paying more for a better piece of art.
Cheap stuff is not good and good stuff is not cheap. smile.gif

The itch is pretty bad now eh?
I usually either smack the skin to ease the itchyness or use a warm towel to wrap around it. It will be gone in a few days don't worry. tongue.gif

whoa.. the buddha head is awesome!

yeah, i would say that their works are good...
good things aint come cheap...  tongue.gif

MY GOSH!! the itch is getting worse til late nite... i keep smacking my back oso.. haha...
btw, there are some black color deadskin sticking on my back now...
when i rub the ointment that time, the deadskin actually stick on my hand..
so izit okay to like rub it off from the tattoo?
*
Yea. It's awesome. There's actually a exact painting on the tattoo studio too.

It's pretty normal for the dead skin to stick to your hands while applying oilment. Just don't rub too hard and don't apply a thick layer of oilment. Just a thin layer will do.

QUOTE(Faith+1 @ Apr 15 2009, 01:29 AM)
I prefer something more details for the buddha tattoo.
*
It's all personal prefrence on what they want. Some people want clean and simple, some people would go for the details. nod.gif

I prefer tats that hold particular significance. Would that star mean anything?
*
I wouldn't only do 1. I'll do 4 stars where each of the star represents 1 of my family member. nod.gif

It would probably on my shoulders. Why shoulders? We carry our burdens on our shoulders together. smile.gif

Depends on whether you like abstract tats, detailed tats or old school tats.
*
That I would wanna do more research before doing. See what star represents what. smile.gif

6th - 8th November.

Anyway, I found quite interesting tattoo concept online where my tattoo artist transfered to. Probably gonna go there, steal a few tricks and come back. tongue.gif

I wonder anyone one here can do this kinda work. I'm already designing a elbow tattoo based on that concept. Just that finding an artist to do it would be a problem.

Can I get opinions on Black Cat and Borneo ink comparitively? originality, art, pricing, services, tattooists, friendliness n bla bla...

thanks.
*
Lets hear it from someone who did his in Blackcat's instead.

I got mine done in Blackcats about 2-3 months back by Julian who has left to NZ to 'get a few tricks'.
Price would be roughly the same as Borneo to be honest. And personally I think they have very skillful artist. And friendly too.

But I guess I'll just let their portfolio do the talking instead.

Blackcats tattoo is operated by the Nonis brothers that has been around for nearly a century. I think for them to become a 'long-term' tattooists would be just fine. smile.gif

I think it may have been overpriced, I got it for 450. But the chick told me it's cos it's in Hebrew and I want it straight as a line. I asked other shops and they're giving me prices like 600-700. But overall, I'm really satisfied.

Also, my tattoo seems to stain my shirt. Why is there still excess ink? Is it cos my skin is rejecting it? So far the tatt still looks new though.
*
New inks are like that. Or at least what I know from mine. I stained my bed sheets. Sounds wrong but oh well.
