Being a Christian doesn't mean that you cannot have a tattoo. It was in the old testament, and non mentioned in the new testament. As in the old testament, tattoo are meant for pagant markings.
As to get a tattoo, you should ask yourslef a question, what is your motive to get one?
Maybe this helps.

thanx. is there any solution for the pain.  thinking to tattoo words on it and cover with ring. hehe
*
Yes, Anaesthetic solution, but it's not recommended. Further more on a finger is won't take such a long time. So I think the pain is bearable

Hmm, i thinking of putting one wing only but i dunno which is good la coz this is my 1st tattoo so of course i want it to be good xD
how abt the bible verse can do? the wordings can be smaller..i'm from Puchong
sweat.gif
do normal tattoo studios have that solution? xD i also scared
how would u describe the pain?
i asked one of my friend, he say pain but more like vibrating on ur skin?
*
I cannot really explain the "pain".. because everyones pain tolerance is diff. Perhaps I can explain it like an ant biting you.
Well, as for Anaesthetic solution, there is one type of anaesthetic which can be sold without a license, which is topical anaesthetic. but still there are some disadvantages for inking. Try to look through the net for topical anaeasthetic, u will know what is it.It's legal and it is used in beauty parlor for embroidery. It's not for injecting purposes.
I suggest that you can look for the aritst and discuss with them what do u want and see how good their suggestion can be for your design.
And also ask them for their procedure of tattooing to make sure it is safe.

*
Around US 120/machine. but its a good deal, u can look into the web for this guys hand made review.
Its a 10 wrap machine. All hand made and it just superb.

Added on August 22, 2008, 4:48 pmI was also trying to build some machines myself, cos I know what is in a tattoo machine, it's just difficult to find someone who can help to cast the iron frame and produce the part in small qty.
Hai......

Added on August 24, 2008, 2:57 amHmm, can someone come up with the do's and don'ts after getting a tattoo?
Because i asked my friend, he say no swimming for 2weeks-1month or cannot sweat? meaning after having a tattoo cannot work out? xD anyone can clarify and maybe state a bit of things to DO and NOT to do. TQ
*
Can workout and also sweat, but no swimming and steam rooom, sauna and sun bathing for around 2 weeks. This is to take care of your tattoo and also help to heal your tattoo faster.
Because, when you have your tattoo done, ur skin will need time to heal.If you go for the activited mentioned above, ur tattoo might be disclored and after it heals the color will not turn out that nice. Why?Ink deposite dunder ur skin will need time to dry and remember, the tattoo process also is actually like a minor surgery, which will leave a "scar" on your skin, this is why you need tpo avoid those activites to let it heal properly.
Fastest healing will be one week, or else 2- 3 weeks depends on how ur body heals.
Normally, one month is better and after healing, if your tattoo seems to be abit discolor, u can always go back for a touch up. Touch up is free.
