Apart from the 'cleaning microfibre' of the HTC pouch - i think the Nokia book type slide in leather way much better in term of protection. Only RM48 for a genuine leather -magnetic closure- just that NOKIA clearly visible on the leather. According to the seller - HTC would provide them with ROM update next month so that some of my installed games icon would be displayed accordingly.

Mine - MMS setting etc etc no problem at all after the device do the auto setting wizard. Use Maxis 3G. In order to reduce the finger prints effect -i went to gadget skins and wrapped my Diamond. Finger prints effect reduced to 80-90 percent plus the touch flo works even better!

My HTC Diamond after Skin Gadget lamination
Done it in Sungai Wang @ RM60.00. Satisfied - may look not as good as naked ones but reduce finger prints up to 90 percent! - protect from calar 100 percent - moisture 95-99 percent and can be remove (wont efect the original condition of the PDA). The trick is - to do it when there' s less people (read customer) so the girl could really apply it with 100 percent focus/commitment. This post has been edited by SFOD-D: Jun 12 2008, 03:03 PM |

We'll never know till someones laminate their TD and somehow peel it off for fun. I rather to risk the peeling (actually the laminate would last at least 12 months and i dont intend to use TD til next year) than calar, finger prints etc etc etc.

My TC last time could at least gave me 18-24 hours with heavy texting...some video and few calls. Extra capacity battery would result a bigger TD right? I just have to stick extra normal battery then.

Ive got similar eventhough not the same problem with Maxis months ago. My supp line (w/o unlimited data) were charge instead of my primary lines (unlimited data) till the extend that i got to pay close to 2k! (eventhough my limit only 800 they seems to close one eyes why my data charges exceed RM2k) . Maxis sucks on this department coz they seems to believe their system like GOD! And GOD dont make mistake. U better check with Maxis Evilpuppy...
Just now i've checked with Maxis KLCC...A-GPS inclusive of the RM99 data plan so i'm safe (coz i use the RM99 data plan) |

QUOTE(hye @ Jun 15 2008, 10:22 PM) If you compare between Maxis and Celcom, should you forget or have problems with your data packages - Celcom caps it charges to max out at RM250. I agree with SFOD-D that Maxis treats their system like it was the perfect system, they appears to be couldn't care less about this problem and would charge their customers the maximum price when possible. Im not really sure..asked the Maxis guy (which in turn have to checked with his floor supervisor) - and he said A-GPS inclusive of the data plan. I dont even think this supervisor really knows about A-GPS hence i dont wanna bother him with things - he himself not very sure off. Since A-GPS use GPRS/3G so i guess its part of the data plan ...beside the supervisor said so evilpuppy I suggest you stop using your data packages temporarily and check with Maxis. |
