The epidural (drug given at the spine to numb the body from waist down) was a a better option compared to having to be fully knocked out by drugs as you can see your baby immediate after the operation and also, the recovery is much faster too.
Of course, the pain was bordering on unbearable in the 1st week but it got better. As for the tummy that Jyen talked about, breast feeding will reduce the size of the tummy as the uterus get smaller. The rest, I guess, you just need to exercise it off..
The pain is worth it once you see your precious in your arms...
