Btw in contrary to popular belief, we dont have a fixed schedule for menstruation. It's common to be late (for a day, a week) , or even skipped. Complaining after one day late is just being ignorant on your/your gf's part.

Learn about the ovulation cycle as well. It's hard to get pregnant if she's "scheduled" to have period 4 days after sex.

The ones who're on clock-work menstruation are commonly on the pills.

hehehe...well if guys were to ikat...there will be mentally and emotionally trauma la.
Alternatively, you can try to use the ovulation calendar and also keep some postinors handy la. mana tau salah hari bulan.
hehehe

or take pills. contraceptive pills. but that have to take daily la. hehehe. can get for u and ur wife also. hehehe. so no need to ikat.
*
what what what you think women ikat isnt mentally and emotionally traumatic? mad.gif mad.gif if you're Muslim, husband can use that excuse to marry another one.

it's bad enough that we have to push the baby through, being snipped and stitched back. pills messes up with our hormones, make us fat/depressed/acne-laden/all-of-the-above and has a big chance of being forgotten to be taken.

whats with Malaysian men and not wanting to wear dom doms sad.gif

ok enough emo already tongue.gif tongue.gif . my cousin tried Implanon. she said it's pretty good biggrin.gif google it up smile.gif

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birth_control

I think it means :

1) Tie a woman up (the non-kinky version tongue.gif) - 0.0125% of being pregnant
2) Follow calendar - 0.005% of being pregnant

So better to follow calendar than tie tubes sweat.gif

You guys dont believe in withdrawal method?

goverment just hundred something only INCLUDED the ward ya.  tongue.gif
last time i went to serdang hospital for the delivery price was not that expensive and the ward are clean and tidy. they give u either choose with fan ward or air conditioning ward.
My husband choose air conditioning ward for me which is 4 person share in 1 room included a toilet. Eventhough i walk out to the nurse reception nearby the fan ward was ok also.. clean and no stinky smell at all.. Maybe the hospital are still new i guess  blush.gif

Nearest government hospital to my house is Hospital Ampang. Next is Hospital Serdang. Wonder if they'd still admit me.

Thinking to go to Pantai Indah (Pantai Ampang).. still within budget but scared if kena emergency c-sect blink.gif

Congrats to you to Syd.  biggrin.gif. By any chance ur hubby kept the accidental device?  laugh.gif
Just kidding Doki.  tongue.gif

So my heartful wish that you get a boy Doki.

Well i am not experienced in havin kids or soo....still young icon_rolleyes.gif
but hearing for you guys, just to ask. everytime you go for doctor and 9months later labor. how much does it cost (only medical) during this 9months period?
*
Why, thank you smile.gif

Oh I wasnt planning wink.gif I cant even track the exact date.. only a range. It's not like we keep a log or something tongue.gif

Medically you can go the expensive route or cheap route.

Cheap route - register for RM5 at klinik kesihatan near your house and go for every checkup for free. This includes vitamin etc. Pros : cheap. Cons : lots of people so you dont really get to ask many questions. Scans are only done if necessary so you prolly wont see baby till birth unless there's something wrong.

Expensive route - private checkups. Going for approx RM100 (specialist fee) per checkup excluding cost of scan, medicine etc. My first time checkup kena RM300 cause they coupled it with full blood n urine test (around RM100+) and transvaginal ultrasound (lady doctor put scanner in my vajayjay). Also kira cost of vial, gauze, plaster etc. Mahal like #$@()$%@#(%)@#$ but hubby was too smitten to be able to see baby very clearly (can even see baby's teeny weeny beating heart) so wouldnt mind paying. Only this time...

We're gonna do private checkups every 2 1/2 or 3 months and klinik kesihatan every month instead to save $$. Best of both worlds smile.gif

okay, i have a question here. During pregnancy, if the skin starts to look yellowish....wat can be the problem? Could it be Jaundice?
Cause i guess that since your bodily hormon changes, the need for some nutrition is higher. any advice?
*
Nah. Prolly red blood cells having to travel to more places and production not keeping up with demand biggrin.gif

Went for 2nd scan on Tuesday. So far so good. Baby's now 10cm. So teeny biggrin.gif

Syd G..congrat..10 cm..erm..next scan will be able to see the gender ady le  thumbup.gif

We went to an expensive hospital (because we like the Dr and she moved there sad.gif) so I told doc that I can only come on important scan dates. She's pretty understanding and set my next appointment to be 3 months from now .. confirm if boy can tell ady biggrin.gif

The normal monthly checkups, I'm just gonna go to the Klinik Ibu Mengandung & Kanak-kanak near my house... service is almost the same and FREE biggrin.gif
