QUOTE(youngblood29us @ Sep 14 2016, 10:49 PM) Guys, my wife is 7 weeks pregnant. We went to visit gynae reecently..the doc gave folic acid (which is ok), iron tablets (wife has no blood issues) and duphaston (lots of negative news).. This 3 meds is lstandard for every pregnant lady that came out from his room..Its like the gynae's SOP ,without doing any further checking as to whether the person really needs it or not.. Are those safe to consume esp duphaston? heard its banned in the USA.. When I was 7th week. Dc only give Folic Acid! Iron tablet is Obimin?

QUOTE(cute_miao @ Jan 3 2019, 11:23 AM) hi there, i just get married last week. We plan to have baby. Do we need to consult doctor to check our body health first? (if yes, appreciate you guys to recommend. We are not local from KL and Selangor. Unsure who is good. Prefer female doctor) Or, We just need to try first? Once kena, only consult doctor? Please advise. By now have u got any good news yet? haha. Start eating Folic Acid now if u r preparing to conceive. Have u done the premarriage test? Better get 1 done to check on the thalassemia. No stress and enjoy the process.
