oh yeah, i can see it now on the bridge close-up: it goes into the body, behind the cover.

But since there is no plate on the back (= no springs ??), i wonder how it works.

cos the plate is in front? tongue.gif
i guess underneath that tailpiece plate is the whole spring system or whatever it uses.

So you can't adjust the spring tension while your strings are set ? extreeeemely convenient laugh.gif

no la...i surf once every few days in case some interesting guitar goes for sale.
sad to say last few months nothing interesting has appeared except for a gibson '61 reissue for RM4.5k.

but not bad...
from apparently not knowing about the guitars being pirated...
to now bringing in way more, and even offering custom options now...
i'll pass u one option and see if they can do it cheap.

i was wondering what the heck that random hole between strings 1 & 2 were until i realized it could be a b-string bender. Weird old fender idea meant for grassroots and country musicians. due to lack of populatity they're extremely rare nowadays.
I really doubt it could be an actual trem system, noting that the entire tailpiece is screwed down to the body.
