bro , 21,2 dB noisy meh ?? ?
*
haha i dun really believe in dBa ratings provided by manufacturers, they are always using different standards leh. My idea is fans above 1200rpm should start to get audible, especially if put in a few together, just my 2 cents worth smile.gif

i dun wanna chage the side 230mm fan. just wanna max the fan slot.
*
ahhh no wonder... i put one sanyo san ace 1900rpm at the front 5.25" bay, took up 3 slots but bringing in lots of airflow, abit noisy tho. Other than that and bottom intake, still got place mer?

top n bottom still got space, can put 1 each. u check n see.
*
oh the top area that's near the front panel rite? I my dvd drive blocking leh, and it's like partially covered by the top casing, so I think outflow will be kinda blocked isn't it? just wondering if there's any value in adding a fan there?

okay i finally got 4 coolermaster red led fans to put at the side, 2 scythe kaze white led fans to put at the top... but my camera really JUST spoilt on me cry.gif will post up asap...

I also changed out the exhaust 140mm fan (1200rpm) to a scythe kaze maru (1900rpm), and boy that fan pushes out lots of air but abit noisy hehe... also installed a san ace 2000rpm fan at the front bay to kick up air intake... getting very good temperatures now hehe so i'm happy biggrin.gif I really have to recommend this case for the freedom it gives in expandability, all the fan holes are there where u need it...

on a sidenote, i HIGHLY recommend any 1600rpm fans from scythe! the two 120mm white led fans run at 1600rpm, confirm much higher airflow than a single 230mm fan, and noise level is pretty much the same (near negligible)... of coz unless you really stick your ear beside the fan lar...if not it really is inaudible from far smile.gif

wad mountings are on the radiator? The top has mountings for up to 3 x 120mm fans, and I've read quite a few reviews where it supports radiator mounting, since it's oriented towards water coolers too... from HAF 932 specs:

Top: 230x200x30mm standard fan x 1 / 700 rpm / 19dBA
(support 120mm fan x 3 or 120mm x 1 + 230x30mm x 1)

Hope that helps =D

nice setup mlcy85
looks cool and nice idea to out another fan infront
cheers
*
thanks bro! the front right fan right, actually can just DIY and just place a fan there, but I went ahead to buy one of those bay accessories that lets u fix a fan there... but just to note i think u need a pretty powerful fan to be useful there, at least 1600 rpm? i put a 1200rpm one can't feel anything inside the case haha...

yea.. worth.... worth meaning more money spent lar... haha now economy slow... less money... lol wait eat grass and sand everyday...lol

errrm CM690 is mid-tower bro? i think it's more about a matter of whether you want full tower or mid tower then. Assuming you want full tower, HAF932 is very good value for money haha! Also full tower gives you much more expandability, more space in case and good airflow... which were all important to me in making my decision lar haha

haha that's good stuff! anyways to HAF932 owners, is it just me, or is it just very hard to properly manage cable behind the case? It looks nice and neat in front, but practically world war 3 at the back! I even had to use force to close the side panel =(

not just haf i think... even my 690 also very hard to hide the cables at the back.. but suprisingly easy to close the side panel... haha
oh ya... can some1 measure for me the space between the mounting holes for the 120mm fan at the top of the case till the top most part of the mobo?? please and tq..
*
yo bro, assuming i got it correct, it should be about 11-12 cm. From the top grill, to exactly where the mobo's edge is.

Any idea when Zalman's is coming out?
*
oh the zalmans, lalaman say the distributor dun want to bring in or something like that, so that's pretty much a no-go. If u really want, again simlim also got sell at 25S$ per piece, crazy mahal but i think buy 4 can shave off 3-4S$ per piece.
