from the brief viewing i had with the epson 5000 (and 3000) and the AE3000.....i still prefer the epson....although they all look pretty good to me. price wise, they're not that far from each other...but epson 3000 is much cheaper than the ae3000........just didnt like the fact that panasonic got lazy and decide not to design new enclosure for their new AE.

as for the infocus...not much experience with that....it wasnt considered when i was looking to buy a projector because of throw limitation....but i think it had pretty good review, so it shouldnt be that bad eh.

by the way...think panasonic has more user complaints than epson....

sorry invaded the optoma thread...hehe

ameeyn, it is a hassle to plug and unplug those hdmi cables everytime....there are those splitters available...but good ones doesnt come cheap. or it could be another excuse to change/upgrade your AVR to one with 2 HDMI outputs

couch is approx 4m away from the screen. i also sometimes sit approx 3m away (from the screen) on a recliner. bottom of the screen is approx 85cm off the floor....hmmm...85cm is less than 3'...no wonder no neck pain...muahahahaha. my screen is smaller than yours though....a good 10cm less diagonally...hehehe

if not mistaken the W5000 is quite big built.....make sure the dimensions and weight are taken into consideration.

RM15k for JVC HD350 seems to be a good price to start, shouldnt be a problem to get it lower than that. its a good price for that JVC
