Theme:Wat sorts? original psp themes or custom themes (cxmb ;D)
8gb: SHould not be a problem since there is a number of PSP users using 8gb ;D MSPD or M2 : M2 will be much faster Firmware: Who said latest firmware not stable? Currently not having any issues with it |

QUOTE(Lacus @ Jun 9 2008, 10:02 PM) Theme:Wat sorts? original psp themes or custom themes (cxmb ;D) Just a note...If you want to play PSX/PS1 games via popsloader don't upgrade to 3.90m33-3. It won't work. Just upgrade to 3.90m33-2.8gb: SHould not be a problem since there is a number of PSP users using 8gb ;D MSPD or M2 : M2 will be much faster Firmware: Who said latest firmware not stable? Currently not having any issues with it |

QUOTE(Joshua_0718 @ Jun 9 2008, 03:18 PM) I just bought my psp 3 days ago. And I got a few noob question i will help u on the theme partHow to install theme? Advisable to run on 8GB? Use MSPD or M2 better? My seller said latest firmware is not stable, is it true? i will use GT5 theme as my psp support only 3.95 theme 1st download the theme get it here www.consolespot.net find the theme that ur firmware support(if ur firmware is 3.95 then download the theme that support on 3.95 only) after u download then extract it on ur desktop ok here's the part that u need to do step buy step if not or psp will bricked( i got mine semi bricked few times just to install this theme luckly im able to fix it) 1) off ur psp(hold the power button for few second till then psp is completly off) 2) go in to the system of ur psp (On the power and hold the R button till u got in ur psp system[its on the top right of ur psp, the transpaent button])then letgo 3)plug in ur usb 4)then select Advance > then select Toggle USB (flash0) 5)ur computer will detect the psp and a window will pop up, then double click on the VSH folder 6)in there have 3 folders {etc, resource and module(hidden folders[see below on how to view the folder])} make a backup for the 'module' and 'resource' folder and save it in ur desktop (dont edit the file just incase ur theme dont work out) 7)then go into ur theme file that u download and extract earlier on ur desktop, double click on the 'resource' folders, copy the file inside. Then go into ur psp 'resource' folder(in step 6) and paste it in the folder[overight the files(yes to all)], sames goes to the 'module' files 8)after all that steps hold ur psp on ur hand, select Back then Exit, and ''pray'' then enjoy ur new theme. to view hidden folders My computer>control panel>folder option then go to View tab, look at the list and select ''show hidden files and folder'' cilck apply and ok to recover ur psp if the theme dont work out, go to step 6 ^ then copy the files that u backup and save on ur desktop then just copy and paste the files in the respective folders, BY ALL MEANS DO NOT DELETE THE FILES IN UR PSP SYSTEM EVEN U HAVE A BACKUP IT WILL MAKE UR PSP SEMI BRICKED LIKE MINE This post has been edited by kelvio: Jun 10 2008, 02:03 PM |
