hi, psp newcomer here.

one question though, is it for metal gear solid portable ops, the menu buttons layout is different from other games? like the 'X' is 'go back' instead of 'O' like in other games? thanks.

any good games to intro to me? i already have
patapon
both grand theft autos
tekken
fifa 08
smackdown vs raw 08
mgs portable ops
gods of war
*
Yep.MGSPO is like that.Fyi,u can set ur O as enter and X as back in XMB(while u r not playing game) in recovery mode.

Just a note...If you want to play PSX/PS1 games via popsloader don't upgrade to 3.90m33-3. It won't work. Just upgrade to 3.90m33-2.
*

Check this out. I don't remember much about it already couze long time never play PSX games with PSP.
Note that you'll need to install popsloader plugin in order to play if your firmware is above 3.7x

Really?? hmmm..... Couze many ppl tried on that firmware and it seems to have lots of problem. Is that the only plugin you have installed?
*

Hmm,that's a weird problem that you're facing.Try going to recovery mode->Advanced->Format flash 1

*Recovery mode : Hold the off switch for 3-5 seconds, then HOLD R and boot your psp up*
*
I thought formatting flash1 will only brick my psp? >.>

EDIT: I figured out the problem. But i cant seem to fix it.When I left the umd door open, the psp will load like normal. If its the other way around, the psp will load very very slow.

My advice is that if the shop is charging you that make sure that the umd drive is working. Else either bring it to another shop or bare with it. I think there should not have any side effect if the psp detects a umd all the time.

Oh Ok.Thanks
