May i know wat part of IT u studying? If u gonna do graphics and all those high performance one u need a better laptop! If u like to do Visual .net and those .net framework stuff u have to stick with Windowns instead of MAC

@naskie: try dell inspiron lappy? Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, Vista Home Basic, 2.0mp built-in cam, DVD Burner, Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 for RM2599 including delivery...

specs may be overpriced but i trust dell for their system reliability.  rolleyes.gif

Graphic designing required more processing power frm the CPU and the GC! So u need to think well woh! U need a Lappie tat is around 5k to do it with less laggieness! Or just stick back to Desktop which is far more cheaper!

XPS not really suitable one (unless u go for 17inch) reason is the screen too small!

tat would be crazy! 17inch laptop is not really consider really mobile used PC! Becoz the weight is around 4kg and the battery cannot tahan one also! Consume too much energy! better buy a desktop!
