I have been searching around in local small pharmacies and it seems that they don't sell Biotin 5000mcg for that matter. Many outlet pharmacies can only recommend Vit B complex. Besides GNC, any other places that sells Biotin in such large dosage?

I also read Propecia side effect can cause Erectile Dysfunction sad.gif
Wonder if it happens to all males taking this medication.

And i heard taking supplements of female hormone such as Progesterone can help too? Cos it will balance out the excessive male hormone?

Seriously, recommended ALSO to get the Biotin supplement. It's scientifically proven to help on hair growth and prevent more hair loss. Written in all the articles in health websites and wiki. I got mine from jchong. Efficiently delivered and good service. Should get the 5000mcg to be effective in the supplement. 600mcg or 2500mcg are not effective enough.

I have tried minoxydil people,

Let me just say it might slow down baldness but definitely not prevent it. And at the end of the day you're gonna end up with a bald head and around ..oh I dunno, like 5000 dollar down the drain? I think it costs 350 per bottle or more.
*
U can get cheaper ones if you scout around small pharmacy shops. The franchise pharmacies are selling them much more expensive. FYI, i got propecia for only RM153, oppose to RM200++ at other major pharmacies.

And not all old people will end up bald.

Minoxidil have to b used with Propecia alone.
Yupe, I do agree many of us afraid the sides of Proepcia.
If choose between Porp and Minox, just choose Prop
*
I've read the clinical research on the effects on Propecia and that most feared side effects is only 5% of the total sample count.
So far I'm still OK with that... the desire to DIY is still there... *touch wood*

Proscar and Propecia are different brand name but having the same chemical compound finasteride in different weight. Propecia is 1mg and Proscar is 5mg. And you only need 1mg per day. Or 1.25mg per day if u cut the proscar pill into 4 pieces.

In addition to that, if you have the budget, buy vitamin supplements too, Biotin (1000mg is good), varieties of Vitamin B and Zinc to help you out.
And of course... relax and drink more water.

Saw Palmetto (herb) Effective at blocking the formation of DHT and appears to block the androgen receptors which are found on the hair follicles. It blocks Type 1 and Type 2 forms of 5 alpha-reductase and has shown to be MORE POTENT than Finasteride.

Any proven testimonial from members on the effectiveness of Saw Palmetto? I know this is sold at the franchise body building supplements shop.

Hi boonies,

I'm 21 male and facing hair loss problem. I can see my middle back head at the hair circle there a bit less hair (I guess is call 地中海脫髮 ?) and also a bit less hair in left and right front head (like M). I have bought Audace hair tonic and shampoo, and use it for 2 weeks already.

However, I feel that my hair still droping when I wash my hair. Can see about 20 - 30 hairs droping. I feel that after using Audace hair tonice and shampoo, it doesn't look better but still the same or maybe even worse.

Any advice from you ?

As I see from your post, you mentioned Biotin. And I will try to buy it now. May I know is buy supplement in phamacy or buy some food which contain Biotin ?

If
Phamacy = which brand ?
Food = which food ?

Thank you.

Regards,
Yung Seng

Biotin any brand but i believe need to be high dosage, maybe like 1000mg or 5000mg? I bought those from there members here. Also eat vitamin supplements like Vit B complex and zinc.

As usual, avoid caffeine, smoke less, sleep more and tense lesss.

Thanks boonies.
You're a godsent.

Some say fin would see results in 8 months or a year.
I'm adding minox as well now.

I'm using Proscar (5mg per tablet)
Which one is better?
Cutting it into 1/5 or 1/4?
*
I'm having Proscar too and from the shape of the pill, isn't it easier to cut it 1/4 ?

I can say, the combination of Proscar, Himalaya protein shampoo, Biotin 5000mcg with zinc and Vits B supplement works good...
