This is what my wife is using now: Biotin B-Complex Thickening Shampoo. She's not suffering hair loss, but has thin fine hair. After about 2-3 weeks notice hair a bit thicker.

2500mcg in one tablet vs 4x600 mcg, difference only 100mcg. Quantity of tablet is not an issue, look at the total dosage you're taking. So you can take 4x600 mcg. In fact like that you can split the dose, e.g. take 2x600mcg at lunch and 2x600mcg at dinner, which some people feel is better for absorption.

How much is the biotin you bought?

Yeah, maybe that shampoo not suitable for your scalp. Maybe go back to the shampoo you used before? Or try some of the shampoos reviewed on boonies site.

I've used the Avalon Organics Biotin B-Complex Thickening Shampoo and quite happy with it.

In Country Farm Organics shop in 1 Utama, they carry shampoo by Aubrey Organics and Jason Natural. These are more natural products (i.e. less chemicals) but not sure if any of them are specifically for volumizing or thickening. Go and have a look.

He did not get the shampoo. It was a biotin in pill form which you eat as a supplement. The item is this one.

Terces the recommended daily amount for Biotin is around 150mg. You can take more than the normal rate like 200-300mg or 500mg but overdosage will only lead to waste as your body cannot absorb that kind of amount of biotin.

Just checking, is it supposed to be mg or mcg for biotin? I thought it was mcg.

One round will usually take 4-7 days to fill up. From there another 7 days for the stuff to be delivered. So you'll probably get it in hand about 2 weeks from now.
