this is enough to scare them out.
as what they do is unreasonable, the reasonable waiting period should be 2-3 working days.

easiest way, go to the branch tomorrow and meet the manager in person.
tell them if they still didn't give you a reasonable reason you will complain to bank negara. this is enough to scare them out. as what they do is unreasonable, the reasonable waiting period should be 2-3 working days. |

i experienced the same case too, the receipt shows money withdrew but in actual nothing come out.
luckily Maybank credit the amount back to my account automatically even before i made a complain. probably the chip can only verify my status but can't send or receive to command to withdraw money due to some residue on it that causes it unreadable. Added on June 23, 2009, 8:56 amfor safety side, do rube the chip of your atm card/cc frequently. this is one of the cons for chip. This post has been edited by sjz: Jun 23 2009, 08:56 AM |
