Your spell detail only needs to be around 60%. No need to be max. And I turn off a lot of the video settings.
The other thing is making sure that I don't have a lot of addon on and just keep bare minimum.

Please do research on health implication if anyone of you plan to use 3G excessively and for a period of time. Cause i remember reading about the dangers of the 3G waves or something like that, especially towards the brain.

That's a crock of shit tbh. If you're worried about wave health hazard, then worry about your microwave over or even your handphone.
At the moment, health hazards are inconclusive.

QUOTE(myremi @ May 27 2008, 11:05 PM) That's a crock of shit tbh. If you're worried about wave health hazard, then worry about your microwave over or even your handphone. At the moment, health hazards are inconclusive. I know about these hazards. Dont tell me you chat on HP 7 hours a day or warm up food while waiting next to microwave for 6 hours, unlikely. However, if you have a workstation that utilizes 3G, then its a diff story. Most prolly you be glued to ur workstation for like hours and that pose even greater danger. Anyway, my point is to inform the uninformed. Since, you acknowledge these dangers, good 4 you. This post has been edited by Computer^freak: May 28 2008, 11:27 AM

There are ways to approach it and as you said, it's not like people talk on the HP all the time. However, you're in vicinity of the stations where your handphone signal is connecting to. So you are expose to those waves, more so in crowded areas.
There's a lot of hearsay or inconclusive statements at this point of time regarding the health impacts from these wave. Even research by professional institution cannot come to a decision.
If there is a serious problem, then the entire nation would have problem because we're mostly underneath a blanket of 3G waves all around us.
Plus, I don't understand your request asking the OP to do research first about 3G health impacts. You don't want to share in more detail what you know? Or is it you just don't know but you want other people to find out first? Yes, you remember reading about it but from where? Link? etc.?
Wanting to inform people is fine, provided that the reasoning is solid with facts and reference. But when the topic is in itself is hard to argue based on RL examples, how? Wanting to inform people is fine but make sure that you're not giving them additional headaches with one-line statements.
And yes, I have a pet peeve when people use the term "wanting to inform" and then leave the receiver either more confuse or not sure what to do or gaining nothing in the end. If wanting to inform people, do it in a manner that may be more beneficial to the recipient.
