paint dry too fast. it dries up before it reaches the surface of the plastic. drying up in the air, hence u can see something like spider web.

mix more thinner, your paint is too thick.

i just now used turpentine on my gundam and it seem not damaged the plastic.
this hardware sell turpentine can mix with mr hobby and so no need to use hobby thinner.
and if u want to wash away the paint on plastic, need to use it more than 5 minutes to tanggal the paint  leh

just be careful. cause tuppertine does make the plastic crispy.

of course if u just put a drop on your plastic n wipe it off, it shouldnt be any problem. but if u r doing washing, and there r area where tension will be n quite some tuppertine is trapped, it will be very dangerous. 1 or 2 days later, you ll find the plastic cracked.

For plastic that's is small, the effect will be faster. eg those ship models' antena.
