QUOTE(painzz @ Jun 18 2009, 05:33 PM) erm just want ask a noob question, how exactly do you guys paint your gundam if don't have air brush? Handbrush or spray cans.
QUOTE(painzz @ Jun 18 2009, 05:33 PM) can i just use a colour spray and spray it onto my plastic runner then topcoat it ? i mean in the other way rather than airbrush. Yes you can but after you cut out from the runners, there will be obvious unpainted sprue marks.
QUOTE(painzz @ Jun 18 2009, 05:33 PM) if yes then , can you guys recommend me some nice brand colour spray ? thanks! Tamiya spray cans. I heard Arrow spray cans work as well, but the paint has a tendency to peel off so you gotta use lotsa layers of topcoat after that.

QUOTE(z3r0717 @ Nov 14 2009, 09:37 AM) dude, it's very easy process... doesn't need an expert to do it.. Just get cement(hobby material) or super glue to strengthen it... but like chriswoo said, once fixed, you can't "play" with it anymore... it'll definitely break Those who wanna play should get action figures like Robot Damashii and not model kits...
QUOTE(keperek @ Nov 15 2009, 12:24 AM) arggg...im so sad to hear that my MG unicorn gundam ver. ka.... that i saving my money for so long.. i dont know how to tell u.. but my heart broken now... Tell you what my dear, get a bootleg MG Unicorn and replace the broken part. Use your broken part on the bootleg and keep it in Unicorn Mode. Voila, now you can display both modes!!

QUOTE(golbeza @ Feb 22 2010, 12:18 AM) guise, need help real quickie here D:, is there any way to fix loose joints? Coz i had lotsa fun posing the MG GN-X until the leg joints eventually became loose, both of them, its the joints from the leg to the waist, probably the picture below could show it, exactly in the red circle D: plus it wont stand firmly on normal surfaces anymore like normal MGs do T^T Thanks lots !! >_< » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Looks like the male joint is too short to create enough friction for it to be tight. Try applying a 1 or 2 layers of clear paint on it and let it dry thoroughly before you put it back in. Worked for my MG F91 & Crossbone.

QUOTE(Xzens1110 @ Mar 8 2010, 10:43 PM) than how ? ...i wanted to use chrome colour to my unicorn !!!! help !!! You will see strokes if you use hand brush as the shiny powder will not be evenly distributed. Best way is to get a spray can, probably something like Testor's, but i'm not so sure if it'll stick to plastic although it can be used for automobiles.

QUOTE(rayloke @ Oct 2 2009, 05:03 PM) I think AfHobby might carry some. Or u can look for oldman (ZeroG forum or Hobbiesscorner.com) or Tkting (Mgs2u.com). I think Tkting does bring in china made thruster that looks exactly like the japanese ones but a much lower price.
