My bro and dad got nose allergy. Will both of them allergic to the fur???

Already got warn if i buy MS, make sure the fur no allergic... else they going to throw my MS away.

LOL if only one dog, then you won't see any fur shed from MS.. but if you have more then one and they actively playing, you will see fur lying around. When I only got Miki.. no need to sweep floor so often, now with Sushi, and they wrestling few times a day.. the floor dirty very quickly, and will create problem for allergy ppl. They play will pull off the fur lor tongue.gif

maltese is hypoallergenic, they are non shedders, whie MS are light shedders.. tongue.gif so what you said are not that right also XD

I find out that, their leg (white part) is the place that actually sheds. If the body, it wont be that much, even did shed you won't notice, because they are short.

Only some dogs allergy on chicken, not eat chicken will hv skin disease. Most common dog kibbles contain chicken in it. That is why those dogs that have skin problem are recommended to try lamb and rice. Or any other meat other then chicken.

If there is nothing with your dog, stick to feed them with kibbles. Adding anything (human food or junk dog treat) to make them eat the kibbles is just pampering them, making them even pickier in the future. Use the starve method.

If you put for breakfast 10am, he don't eat, take it away at 10.30 am.. then put there after few hours, say 1pm, thn if he still don't eat, take away at 1.30pm.. and feed him at 7pm. Most dogs will surrender at 7pm because he is hungry, but there is also stubborn dogs that dont want to eat, because they want you give them tasty food. Don't bother them, and feed the next morning. Soon they will learn to appreciate food. If you are soft hearted, your dog will never learn nod.gif

hi..

recently after a full grooming session i noticed something tat looks like dried pus/blood near my MS butt. At first i tot maybe the groomer accidentally nicked it but after clearing it, it came back again. Can't really see if it's a wound or not bcos of the fur but it's dried. is tis the schnauzer bumps

It might be skin problem. How long is it now? Try search other place if there is anything similar. If it is skin problem it will spread to other places, and it will gets bigger and bigger. A visit to vets is needed if you notice it is getting bigger and not smaller (hurt by groomer, will recover)
