That's why i kinda believe what some ppl say, bout fussy ppl always get the problems. Well, now just praying hard. QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Jun 23 2008, 09:44 PM) the noise is come from where? front or rear? if rear, then checked your car jack whether it has been properly tied. If possible take down your boot carpet and make sure everything is porperly attached. They suspected it is the joint area too. That's why they took my car to their panel beater to adjust all the joints. Tapi, still sound persists. The sound is in front. They said they used some sorta clamping tool to clamp the joints closer so that there won't be noise when the body twist... but yet. If from front, then u can checked whether the lower arm or drive shaft. Else will be probably related to body welding or joint area. |

Got my Waja out of hospital after being warded for a night. No more 'nyet-nyet' sound already. But in the process of hammering my left fender, they chipped of a small-small piece of my bonnet paint. But that is ok with me... because it doesn't bother me as much as the unwanted sounds.

Was happy for 5 days since my Waja was discharged from hospital. Symptoms before admission was constant 'nyet-nyet' sound when i do large turning n when i go over humps. After 1 night in the hospital, it was cured. No more sound. I was damn happy n satisfied. But after 5 days, it started to come back. The ever-so-irritating 'nyet-nyet' sound is back! I wonder if a few days of riding it would loosen the left fender region which they claimed to have tightened. Somemore, I sudah give up... tak mau bring back for the technicians to look at it. So sad lah..... PROTON!!!

QUOTE(squareballs @ Jun 29 2008, 11:19 PM) No idea, whichever is the best. As u might have noticed, i have been having this sound problem with the front left fender region of my Waja. It was fixed temporarily by knocking it tight by the ppl at the service centre. But after a week, it was back. I was thinking it might be due to prolonged chassis flex. So, maybe by adding the strut bar, it might reduce the chances of the place making noise again in the future? can ah?! |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Jun 29 2008, 11:35 PM) Thats make sense. But I think adding an undercarriage bar will have more significant effect in reducing chassis flex, and it will also protect your oil sump. My friend's Waja Campro oil sump cracked after hitting a bump. OK boss... u just tell me what i need to tambah and i tambah everything.. just that i don't really know where is a reliable place to do this kinda stuff in Ipoh. |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Jun 30 2008, 12:06 AM) Agreed. They also offer the most variety of strut bar. But I like Zenden aluminum colored finishing compared to dull Ultra Racing. U guys dunno where to get those in Ipoh? I'll go search around tomorrow. But I dunno where to begin!! Hehe. And are they fake ones around? Takut kena con. |

Just contacted the Ipoh dealer for Ultra Racing struts. They recommended me to take the front strut and the fender bars. Will cost me a few hundred at least. Might go get it tomorrow. I'm not really sure on the price. What is considered "reasonable" ah?

QUOTE(squareballs @ Jun 30 2008, 07:14 PM) I think I'll be going tomorrow to get it fixed. Maybe if the price is right n the explaination by the mechanic sounds convincing enough, maybe i'll add on the bars behind too. |
