Usually how much they'll charge for wiring and installation if I were to bring my own woofer and amp?

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Aug 19 2008, 09:54 AM) yes only the LED, the reliability is good compare to other types of LED. Speaking of smoked headlights, do you think we can smoke our front headlights?I'm using Altezza look alike type rear light (clear cover and smoked)....and tempted to change to M5 type hehehe...got to sell it off 1st. If yes, how much would that cost? How much would it cost to smoke the rear as well? |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Aug 22 2008, 11:50 PM) Browse back a few post a realized that we been comparing in term of power/performance, not characteristic. Sorry bout that. Yeah, better to get 2 way alarmAbout that dip (or flat), I've seen a few chart from various sources and it looks to me like a dip. http://www.proton.com/innovation/rnd/campro.php And I've also mixed up between torque and hp Why not get those 2-way alarm. Quite effective and can get quite cheap also. Mine Bil-tech brand, cost me RM600 + installation. Not bad and I'm loving it. QUOTE(squareballs @ Aug 23 2008, 12:45 AM) Thinking of changing my wiper long time ago, spoil d.. Silicone better. But still dilemma which to go for, silicone or rubber.. Either you go with those cheap ones from Tesco or Giant or get those Rm80 or so lifetime warranty ones. My satria is still using those cheap ones from Giant, works great till now. hehe |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Aug 23 2008, 09:38 PM) i dunno the aftermarket headlight will have problem in the adjusting the height of light. I did experience problem with my wira last time. In that case I think I'll just stick to my stock one. I'm thinking of changing as theres a little scratch on it. Anyhow, I think I might just smoke it by using those black tint, good idea? Btw, what kind of engines are suitable to be transplanted on a waja and how's the HP, price and fuel consumption? |

Added on August 25, 2008, 8:33 am Normal Mivec on paper it appear to be 175hp. FC is much better if u don't whack it and not always running in Mivec zone. You may forget about the GSR 1.8 FC. Mivec MD is for fuel economy and on paper it shows 140hp. The difference is, MD running 2 pistons when ur car is idling or moving below certain RPM (as a guide line around 80kmh). for those who hunger for performance, go for Mivec manual or Mivec RS. For lazy ppl like me, tiptronic is suit my taste. Yeah I'm also looking at Mivec MD, tiptronic too as I've been driving manual for ages. Are you using Mivec as well? Right now i need to check the price for Mivec MD tiptronic + installation and endorsement, then wait till I get 'green light' from my mum then kautim! So how much usually it cost for mivec MD tiptronic + installation and endorsement? |

QUOTE(babylabbit @ Aug 25 2008, 04:25 PM) QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Aug 25 2008, 04:44 PM) law are meant to break. haha When will it be done? Give me a ride or go TT and check out your car. Added on August 25, 2008, 3:58 pm bcos i go to chop shop freqently until few shops are very close to me hahaha. If u plan to get Mivec, then better get non MD version as it produce much more power and yes I have Mivec on my waja. for Mivec tiptronic conversion u need to ready approx RM10K (that is depends on your luck as how many parts you need to replace). As for my case, i've spent approx 12K (excluded JPJ endorsement) and yet the project has not complete. Yours is which one? Wah thats a lot of money, wonder whether my mum would allow me to do that? hehe btw, i love this interior. http://www.zerotohundred.com/newforums/att...bo-dsc00587-jpg This post has been edited by Tainted: Aug 25 2008, 04:26 PM |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Aug 25 2008, 10:39 PM) GDI model very hard to find, maybe still too new. Even have also a complete half cut condition. Nono, I meant i got the pictures from ZTH.U get ur alarm from ZTH? which seller? short GT wing? do u mean the M3 style? My 2 way alarm I got it from an accessories shop at Oldtown. He does a good job. Erm, nope. Its standard size looking GT-wings but those lowered one and not as high as those seen on 'wiralutions'. LOL Are you thinking of installing 2 way alarm as well? |

QUOTE(squareballs @ Aug 25 2008, 10:45 PM) Bil-tech cost me RM550 incl installation.QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Aug 25 2008, 10:48 PM) actually i'm looking for alarm that the remote n the key is attached together. The reason is I lazy to carry another bunch of key+remote since I already carry 2 balls inside my pants. Then go with the locktopus one, it seems to be a better one compared to Blitz.Added on August 25, 2008, 10:03 pmBtw, how come there's no TT session for our own Waja club here? Should also create our own stickers. lol my car looks damn plain. This post has been edited by Tainted: Aug 25 2008, 10:03 PM |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Aug 25 2008, 11:21 PM) most fuel economy ka...that is honda CITY lo. Eh post some photos of your monster la..LOLMine is tiptronic. If u really concern about Fuel consumption, then consider MD. But i bet u'll tend to mod it in future. lol. I wanted to buy city at first but got no 'green light' from parents. Yours is not MD right? Yeah man, I so want a tiptronic, as I'm so lazy, especially when I'm stuck in a jam. But at night its fun to drive manual. |

I'll try looking around and ask my mechanic for it. Btw, how's your fc? Any mods to your exhaust system? |
