honestly, i really love it.
this will be one of the few special movies i enjoy( forest gump, big fish).

curious case has been getting a lot of attention and buzz lately due to the outrageous amount of nods.. but sorry guys.. the big winner will be slumdog millionaire. golden globes already proved it.. curious case din even get a single win.

I Zzzz'ed alot while watching this movie. The plot is interesting but the execution is so-so.
With all the hype, its a disappointment.

bah golden globes are bullshyt. semua kerja rasuah, all the judge macam buyers.

I stop a few years watching that golden glode, always awarding prizes to random show nobody ever heard off.
Just because that show won an award, doesnt means it pwns every show in the universe.

Sounds like Academy awards. Babel? Crash? Capote?

Um I thought Babel and Crash were rather excellent...

But they werent buzzin' aint it? Until they won the Awards. Unlike this one.

i think the main problem with this film is that, the producers made this movie with the main purpose of winning awards.. they tried too hard but failed miserably..

that's why it has only been "nominated" so many times but not "won" any significant awards out there..

Actually, it isn't. You'd find lots of hate for this show, and not a very good critical consensus (see Rotten Tomatoes and compare it to Wall-E, for example, which I think is overrated).

The Oscars love it because it's an art project. Not many studious would spend $150 million to make a movie like this. They would rather be making "safe" movies like the The Dark Knight...

Hate or no hate, its the hype that keep on buzzin even before the movie been released.
Maybe becoz of Brad Pitt? Or the over-expensive making? Or the brilliant script before hand?

I've been following the progress of this movie. I must say, I'm disappointed with the outcome. Or maybe its Brad Pitt, very distracting figure.

All in all, its a so-so movie for me. Should be better than "The Dogs". But with the outcome and over-expensively madefor this movie, I choose "The Dogs".
