yea i agree, my melee skill now totally gone
melee is wayyyy more stress compare with dota, one wrong key movement whole round gg

I dont think DotA have any macro.Only a handful of micro but one things for sure that is more than melee is team work.

You need that one a lot.

I had this problem too.

Now only manage to regain my skills.

Play dota is ok, but dont be a ''Dotard'' and speak to everyone Dota = Wc3 or Dota need some micro skills.

come back to Wc3, play too much Dota you will lose Wc3 skills.

Dota = relax, require alot teamwork and communication with teammates(and the luck to team with pros )

Wc3 need expo, and def of them.

Im done with WC3.Never gonna play that game anymore.

There are more worthy RTS out there for me to play.

Trust him, its from Unreal Tournament. They installed some 3rd party thingy in CS just to get the sounds. Really, the sounds are not from CS. Play unreal tournament then you will know.

Quite not agree with the dota required more teamwork than melee.

It somehow occurred that DOTA required more teamwork, it's because DOTA is always 5v5. While melee you can range from 1v1 to 6v6.

If you tried a game of 3v3 or more, then teamwork is very important.
Example on 4v4:
You can have 4 person rush to one guy base at a time with 3 to 4 unit each.
However, the defending party can choose either to get everyone to help, or split into 2 forces: one to assist, and the other to launch attack on attacking player base.

On top of that, unit combination is important here.
You wont have time to research all you units to tier 3. Most likely you will focus on a few units, while your teammates can focus on others unit.


Previously I played a lot of 3v3.
Normally we can do a good early rush, by mixing NE archer, Orc Grunt and Footman. Most of the time we can destroy, or paralyzed one player from the game, and it would become a 3v2.
Sometimes we can have a player to mass technology. The player would just train a hero and a few basic unit, build some towers so that it can hold for a while if someone is attacking. The stress will be on the other 2 players. However, once this player get to tier 3, it's a gg. Mass Chimera, Mass Frost Wyrm or even Mass Wind Rider.

If you are playing alone or a 2v2, for NE, I saw most players only mass huntress, which is something that are not supposed to do if you are playing a team game. In team game, archer is a hell lot better.

but, for me is Dota is more stress....... melee is more relax..

Actually, the spamming is necessary so that your fingers don't stoned up..warming up your fingers is to get better reflex and response..same principle as in warming up your body before you go for sports to avoid cramps..

If you don't believe me, just download and analyze ANY replays from any good melee player's replay. Guess why they got an APM of 200-400 in the first minute?

I do hope that everyone don't argue which is better, both have it's own fun..I still play both of them and will continue playing..Cheers guys!

Very funny.Who care ur skill gone or not, unless u r pro-gamer. Play for fun. They choose to play specific game that u dun like, so what? They not using ur money to play at all.

agree, if those dota players played WoW, they would get f***ed up by the global cooldown system...

Actually, all WOW characters are copied from DotA.

Sorry to say but the story lines continue from the w3 frozen throne campaign ..arthas story came from w3 reign of chaos continue towards frozen throne and finally WoW wrath of lich king
Lich obviously is the same with arthas
