I'm not sure about that too....Firstly, they never say can refund..secondly, they never say that it was genuine sony camera...third,we scared that later this china fella don't want to give refund when we send the items back to him...Any idea to make him refund?

If she bought it through Paypal, immediately raise a Dispute case within Paypal.

Well... I don't think she can do anything now. Well, it is quite an expensive lesson but in future she will definitely be more careful when buying anything online.

she's still young, this might be painful , but painful enough so that she'll be more alert and cautious next time .

Her blog title was : 15 years old and ready to explore the world of humanity(and writing)

Yeap, u've just explored the darkest world of humanity. Men will do whatever necessary to earn money.

Only through painful experience only then we will learn the facts of life... biggrin.gif Most of us learn from mistakes and when we overcome it, we'll become stronger.

... this has become a preaching thread already. biggrin.gif

If she has the black and white (eg. email, forum message) that the seller claims it was a Sony and did not even hint that it was a knock-off, AND that she at no point acknowledged that she was buying a counterfeit, then her chances are very good in winning a dispute.
File it anyway - otherwise chance of refund is zero.
Don't bother even mailing back the item lest it never gets received by the seller (on purpose).
Counterfeiting is an intellectual-property crime in just about all countries.
So basically, she's a victim of a crime (fraud).

i just bid and won a bulk lot of cameras and video cameras mp3 players and gps systems winning bid was $48.10NZD

one of the cameras was the you talk about here i know lots about taking photos ect this camera has a very good lcd screen and battery life it says it takes 12mp photos but it is really only 5mp it takes ok photos they most of the time they are mostly better then most mobile phones that are 5mp its has a macro mode you can go about as close as 10cm any closer and it gets a little blurry

these cameras sell for like $30 free shipping depending on where you look and its worth the money great for a kid as battery life is really good can last hrs so no need to have to charge it all the time it uses same battery some nokia phones use the camera is really not as bad as op makes it out to be
