QUOTE(onnying88 @ Sep 9 2009, 01:29 PM) What's the penalty amount and new lock in period after appeal to blr-1.5? How much roughly you going to use for the OD for renovation? Will need above info to calculate the break even year. Added on September 9, 2009, 1:32 pmThanks, Just trying to share and help our dear forumer with my little knowledge. I'm still in the learning process too may b using around RM50k for renovation. after appeal, another 5 years lock in from 2008 and penalty 3% base on loan amount which is RM150k if refinance. QUOTE(jackchp @ Oct 5 2009, 04:00 PM) hi....fyi, ocbc ideal mortgage is new in market and not more than 1/2 year..
1st year = 2.50% fixed rate thereafter = MLR-1.30% (current MLR = 4.40%
lock in period 3 years penalty: a) 1st-2nd years = 3% of origin amount or RM 5k which is higher b) 3rd year = 2.5% of origin amount or RM 5k which is higher
and this package is only offered for completed property.
this package also offering home extra, which means providing an extra term loan 10% for you to do renovation or others purpose. u also may extra privilege on PLB(portability loan benefit)...
MLR is the term that use only for OCBC, which is same as KLIBOR is the term use for standard chartered? standard chartered BLIBOR will revise their rate every 3 month, how about OCBC MLR? how OCBC MLR been calculate? OCBC ideal mortgage is flexi loan or .....?
