Hi,
I'm thinking to purchase a house (almost complete...half year) and want to know the best housing loan package that are available...
Current salary: 3300 (no loan)
Loan Amount: 250K
Loan period: 30 years
Ideal repayment amount: around 1.5 K per month for the first 5 years; around 3 K per month after first 5 years.
I'm thinking to pay more after first 5 years and shorten the loan period as soon as possible.
Is there any package that suit my need? or should I refinance and shorten the loan period after that?
Another question...BLR - 2% means 5.55-2=3.05% p.a ??
Thank you very much...

Loan amount:RM300,000 Loan period:30 years
salary:RM3600 car loan:RM766 (until Nov this year) Joint loan with others (RM200 K ++): RM1600 monthly (I'm not paying the loan, just help my sister to get the loan)
Possible for me to get the loan? Should I settle my car loan first?

Hi, This Monday I just met the PBB officer to ask about the housing loan...got first 3years at 3.75% and BLR-1.8% thereafter. I took 2 days to prepare all the docs needed for the application, who knows I'm too late...when I submitted it, she told me that the offer stopped today oh~ Last two weeks, I called HSBC, they said BLR-1.9%; yesterday I called them again, BLR-2.1% (1-5 years), thereafter BLR-1.9% ...other banks also changed their packages...confusing lah... I think it's all depends on luck to get a good package. This post has been edited by Joy~: Mar 17 2010, 04:38 PM
