Recently got a mortgage for BLR -2.2% from Hong Leong. Loan amount 200k+, this is the flexi package where can use balance in current a/c to offset the loan principle interest. zero cost package too.

Good rate?

Some other buyers got up to BLR -2.8% from what I heard. But their loan amount is >300k

Flexi @ BLR - 2.20% is ok.  As for BLR - 2.8%, sure or not????  Never seen nor heard it before.

Anyway get your application is a.s.a.p. as those will be things of the past.

Heard that banks are going to increase their rate to ~BLR-1.8%
and also BLR will go up.

Luckily I have got my loan offer letter 2 weeks ago.

Dun be too happy 1st, always / sometimes in the offer letter stated the bank reserve the right to withdraw the offer/facilities without assigning any reason (esp. letter offer from HXBC) even though after signing letter offer but before drawdown.
