i been playing guitar for 2 years++ i found out that my note arent clear when i play fast but when i check my left hand it was ok so when i observed my right hand my picking is not coordinating well with my other hand when im playing 140-160 bpm and it got worst when i wanna play for example a major c scale from upper c to lower c fast i cant pick fast enuf when changing the string, ussually it got stuck for 0.5 sec so any exercise to improve or tips? other than "practice"

It's called PLAYING SLOWER. It's really an exercise in patience to practice slowly. Instead of going straight to 140bpm, start at 60bpm. Then 65bpm, then 70, and so on, and so on.......

That's why you need to buy a metronome and start off slow. Like the old saying goes, learn to crawl before you learn to run.
With time, you'll build up what I call "inner-metronome" and you can easily get fixed to the timings.
Start slow man.... start slow........

QUOTE(Everdying @ May 23 2008, 02:29 AM) just get paul gilbert's "intense rock I" instructional video. and buy some dunlop jazz III picks IMHO, PG's the best teacher for shred guitar.. his 3 notes/string exercises really do a lot in synching your 2 hands together.. just remember to start slow and don't cheat by picking more than once on one note.

I like PG's technique on the Get Out Of My Yard song.... Just put tune 3 strings to 3 pitches of e...... voila.... super arpeggio......
