even if the game live up the hype, i dont think they WILL ever agree and critic it like there's no tomorrow

Guys, anyone know what will be the main difference of MGS4 between the Hong Kong region and the US version? The contents i.e. censorship??? Coz am thinking of preordering from playasia, thanks.

haiya no one answered my noob question. Its just that someone told me Asian version comes with chinese manual. I cannot read it one... is it true? If that's true then i'll have to hold off and buy the US version which comes later and I can't participate in this presale you guys are having

Well then i think that it may based on 2 reasons:-

1) They are not keen to action infiltration game, therefore they don't bother & feel negative about MGS4 (i got a friend who own PS3 but he really don't bother to buy MGS4, simply because he don't like the unique game style of MGS4 - infiltration and stealth game).

2) They are not even played the previous episode before, they don't realise how much the improvement of the gameplay, the graphics, the epic story-telling etc..In their eyes, they don't think it is an epic game...

Well that is just my personal opinion, the truth remain to be seen

did winning eleven 2008 Asian version come with a bilingual manual? that is the other konami PS3 game of Asian region.

DMC4 and HS Asian has English manual

tell him the unfortunate truth:
stealth is now completely optional

Quite true thou. I have a friends that owns both PS3 & Xbox360 but he told me he regret buying the PS3. He said Xbox360 is more fun to play with. But for my case, I'm getting my PS3 soon just to play this MGS4.

Ya now can also play like Rambo-style and kill people like your wish..just arr, it is very hard to change those people mindset..they think MGS4 = Stealth game

You are doing a wise choice

1st, no need to worry 3RROD,
2nd, you can play MGS4 that only EXCLUSIVELY for PS3
and 3rd, you can own a cheapest Blu-ray player
