Instead of making an expansion set for COD 4 with more new modern day weapons and modern day characters/factions, they actually choose to go back to World War 2 which has already been done many times.
Go figure. This post has been edited by LunaG: Oct 15 2008, 03:55 PM |

it was back hidden on another thread. tahts y they moved all into here ^^
i wud say both lol~ Added on October 15, 2008, 4:18 pm QUOTE(LunaG @ Oct 15 2008, 03:52 PM) Instead of making an expansion set for COD 4 with more new modern day weapons and modern day characters/factions, they actually choose to go back to World War 2 which has already been done many times. but luna u have to think of this. modern weapons are made for easy usage and provides advantage. take the JAVELIN MISSLE u can lock a tank opposite a building cuz it's a heat seeking missle. no fun like this. it wud b better to use the rpg which gives the chance to MISS the target ^^ remember rpg dont travel straight in the last time. but modern rpg''s fly straight LOLGo figure. i wud prefer the old type weapons rather then the new type cuz it's imbalanced. lol This post has been edited by AeonStrife: Oct 15 2008, 04:18 PM |

Somehow if you're talking about singleplayer campaign-wise, I would prefer WWII gameplay and story line. Because it was history and you were fighting for a reason.
Look at CoD 4's story, it's good but it's the usual terrorist-have-bomb-and-you-must-save-the-world kind of story line. No real feel to the army warfare like WWII. Most of the time it's just you, Cpt Price and Gaz. 3 man army wtf. I'm not sure if I'm making sense but yah, my 2 cents. |
